This is why I want to move up in the world. I want to live my life the way I want. I want space to live, create, work, play, and rest the way I want. I want to help others find that same freedom. Also, I want success for the fun of it. The game is more fun when we play to win.
I am not better than you. We are the same. If I forget that and think that I am separate from you and start to blame you for my pain or current position, then it becomes critical that I prove that I am better than you. If I am alone, I had better be better than you. I need to you know.
Knowing that I am not better (or worse) than you relieves the pressure. I act without fear. If I succeed, wonderful. If I fail, that’s okay. I will learn and do better next time. My failing does not make me a failure. It does not make me anything less.
Without that pressure, I see clearly. I see what I do well and I see what I can do better. I am not threatened by others’ success. I learn from others. I see them as they are.
